  • Post-Secondary Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience (PhD preferred)
  • Experience with Openmpi and CUDA will be considered an asset
Responsibilities
  • Develop new approaches to quantum chemistry on quantum computers/annealers
  • Implement the proposed ideas in any of high-performance computer languages: Fortran, C++, Julia, Matlab/Octave, etc
  • Be able to read code written in Python
  • Communicate ideas in form of discussions as well as scientific papers
  • Development of C++ version of IQCC
  • Extend IQCC to solid state systems
  • Perform quantum chemistry calculations using GAMESS, Quantum Espresso, and Terachem
  • Parallelization of the code using MPI
  • Providing reports on the benchmarking
  • Keeping the documentation update
  • Performs all tasks in accordance with established Safe Work Practices and Standard, Operating Procedures
