  • Three years of cash-handling experience in a banking/financial institution
  • High School diploma or GED
  • A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Treasurer’s Office customer front-facing representative by greeting customers, and provide parcel account and property tax info
  • Process property tax payments, including counting cash and coins accurately and maintaining precision in the process ensuring that the cash drawer balances at the end of each shift and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure strict compliance with the policies and procedures of the bank
  • Operate computer terminals, check scanners, and other equipment used in banking transactions
  • Stay up-to-date with the county and Treasurer’s Office policies and procedures
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and job proficiency
  • Prepare individual daily banking deposits for armored vendor pickup ensuring proper procedures are followed
  • Complete other projects when needed
