Requirements
  • A minimum of twelve years of proven experience, including at minimum, five years of engineering leadership
  • Detailed understanding of AI/ML, including ML frameworks, public cloud, and commercial AI/ML solutions - familiarity with Pytorch, SageMaker, HuggingFace is required.
  • Image Processing, Computer Vision, Generative AI experience is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge regarding the creation and optimization as well as operation of GPU intensive ML workloads in production environments
  • Understanding of model serving, orchestration, scaling and GPU resource management
  • A track record of attracting talent and leading multiple high-performance teams to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment of AI infrastructure
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - establishing positive relationships with team members and external partners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
  • A passion for staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in AI/ML - in the cloud and on device
  • A Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, or a related field
Responsibilities
  • Engage with Applied Research and product teams, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, to develop a comprehensive plan for implementing machine learning solutions in our flagship applications.
  • Collaborate with product management leadership and other collaborators to define the generative AI feature strategy and secure executive consensus
  • Collaborate closely with various platform teams to bring to bear existing inference systems and identify necessary improvements to accommodate future modalities (video, streaming, etc.)
  • Lead planning and delivery of GPU optimized, efficient model pipelines for new Firefly features serving a variety of modalities such as images, vectors, 3D, etc.
  • Grow and scale processes and global teams with a goal to increase the velocity at which AI feature capability manifold
  • Ensure the delivery of a scalable, reliable cloud service with observability, logging and tracing to enable quick detection, understanding and resolution of run-time issues
