We’re currently looking for a Quality Control Supervisor to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting in overseeing the quality control department, making sure the team works with efficiency, and to ensure quality standards and departmental standards are met.
You’ll report to the Post Grading Operations Manager and work from our Jersey City, New Jersey office.
What You’ll Do:
- Champion Safety: Prioritize a safe work environment and act as the first responder for any safety concerns or incidents.
- Lead and Develop: Manage staffing, provide comprehensive training, and foster a strong team spirit within the quality control department.
- Drive Performance: Monitor team productivity and quality, assign tasks effectively, and implement strategies to minimize errors and improve efficiency.
- Set the Standard: Ensure adherence to all quality control procedures and actively seek opportunities to enhance processes.
- Inspire and Motivate: Create a positive and rewarding work environment that encourages skill development and recognizes achievements.
- Problem-Solve: Effectively address challenges and develop solutions to maintain smooth operations within the department.
- Collaborate: Interact with third-party partners as needed to ensure seamless quality control across all operations.
- Track and Analyze: Maintain accurate production records and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Control and/or leadership, with at least 2 years leading a team in a warehouse or operations environment.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey company policies and procedures.
- A dependable and personable individual who excels at collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A data-driven approach to problem-solving with an understanding of how decisions impact the business.
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing various projects in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is crucial.
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective action plans.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $57,920 - $80,035. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
