Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics pricing, cost modeling, warehousing procurement, or contract administration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial and cost modeling and pivot tables, PowerPoint, and enterprise logistics systems such as Cello, transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, and enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Strong understanding of warehousing cost drivers, equipment leasing and purchasing, labor rates, and commercial contract structures, including master service agreements, service-level agreements, and rate exhibits.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear leadership presentations and manage multi-stakeholder cross-functional projects.
Responsibilities
  • Build dynamic cost models for storage, labor, equipment, and value-added services to evaluate third-party logistics proposals and benchmark them against direct-operation costs.
  • Generate executive-level reports, pricing summaries, and scenario comparisons to support strategic decision-making and site selection.
  • Analyze rate structures and identify cost-saving and operational improvement opportunities across distribution centers.
  • Lead request-for-information, request-for-proposal, and request-for-quotation processes for third-party logistics warehousing operations and direct-operation support vendors, including staffing agencies, material-handling-equipment providers, rack installers, and automation-system vendors.
  • Partner with Legal, Procurement, and Operations to draft, review, and maintain service agreements, including master service agreements, statements of work, service-level agreements, and rate cards.
  • Oversee contract extensions, pricing amendments, and scope-change controls with internal and external partners.
  • Conduct vendor benchmarking, commercial evaluations, and bid comparisons to ensure competitive pricing, service capability, and compliance with internal procurement requirements.
  • Execute end-to-end procurement workflows within the company platform, including floating requests for quotation, consolidating vendor quotes, and conducting commercial bid evaluations.
  • Oversee contract and billing administration in Cello, including timely registration of master rate cards, monitoring billing settlements, and resolving cost variances.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Information Technology, Legal, and Finance to ensure pricing accuracy, operational feasibility, and system alignment.
  • Lead and support ad hoc logistics, sourcing, pricing, and operational projects driven by evolving business requirements, customer needs, and management priorities.
  • Develop rapid business cases, cost analyses, market benchmarks, and sourcing strategies for new warehouse operations, network changes, customer opportunities, and special projects.
  • Support new site launches, expansions, relocations, operational transitions, and other time-sensitive initiatives from initial feasibility assessment through vendor sourcing and implementation.
  • Evaluate emerging logistics technologies and solutions, including warehouse automation, material-handling equipment, robotics, and other productivity-enhancement initiatives, from operational and financial perspectives.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with large-scale distribution networks or multiple distribution centers.
  • Prior exposure to material-handling-equipment leasing or purchasing, pallet pooling agreements, or temporary staffing procurement.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Logistics, or similar methodologies.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and safety regulations in warehouse logistics.
