Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of administrative, office support, or related experience is required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, confidentially, and professionally with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors is required.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Health & Safety Department, including document management, data entry, report preparation, and recordkeeping.
  • Administer the Personal Protective Equipment program.
  • Develop a working knowledge of ESS Health & Safety standards, programs, policies, and procedures through departmental training and ongoing education.
  • Assist Health & Safety leadership and staff with surveys, evaluations, audits, inspections, and other departmental activities.
  • Gather, organize, and maintain data used to monitor Health & Safety metrics, compliance requirements, and departmental goals.
  • Coordinate training records, certifications, and documentation to ensure accurate and current employee files.
  • Adhere to and actively support ESS Health & Safety policies and practices.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
  • Monitor departmental inboxes and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and departmental materials.
