- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in logistics; railway logistics experience is an asset.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize, plan, assign, and control work.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
- Postsecondary studies; studies in business management, transportation, or logistics are preferred.
- Authorize wagon releases according to group rules and monitor authorized quantities to prevent excessive shipments.
- Ensure wagons contain the correct merchandise and are sent to the correct site.
- Reroute wagons when necessary and create new routes for new destinations.
- Track monthly purchase orders and maintain operational files.
- Monitor wagon flows to avoid asset-use charges and ensure efficient cycles.
- Produce and send daily reports on the availability of empty wagons that can be ordered or returned in the assigned area.
- Respond to internal customer requests and provide timely operational support.
- Collaborate closely with yard personnel to support daily operations and meet shipping deadlines.
- Railway logistics experience.
- Postsecondary studies in business management, transportation, or logistics.
