Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a top undergraduate program with a strong academic background.
  • At least two (2) years of business or legal experience; experience at a major law firm, company or in-house at an investment firm is a bonus.
  • Diplomatic interpersonal skills to interact with the more than 1000 worldwide employees of Bain Capital and with the key partners of our external law firms.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects with high attention to detail; strong sense of ownership and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with internal legal team and external legal advisors on a full range of legal issues facing Bain Capital’s holding company, its investment advisers, affiliated funds and portfolio companies.
  • Oversee entity management – manage formations, dissolutions, name changes and structure chart updates.
  • Maintain legal and corporate records.
  • Assist with the KYC process – completion of forms, structure charts, document collection, notarization, apostilling and responding to follow up questions from counterparties.
  • Work with outside counsel to coordinate signature pages and organize deal transaction documents and closing binders.
  • Contribute to the tracking, drafting and filing of SEC and other regulatory securities filings as needed.
  • May be requested to perform other duties not mentioned above.
