Role Overview
The Corporate Services division is responsible for the provision of leading edge real estate and procurement services aligned to business strategy and requirements, aiming to enhance value and productivity across the value-chain through effective, efficient and agile processes delivered by a strategic, commercial and risk focussed function.
The Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) function objective is to support TP ICAP in achieving its business objectives by aligning its real estate strategy with the corporate vision, mission, and strategy. Corporate Real Estate Services is responsible for the management, maintenance and optimisation of TP ICAP’s real estate portfolio. CRES comprises the provision of strategic real estate planning, transaction management, project management, facility management, critical engineering services management, health, safety and environmental management, workplace design, sustainability, and implementation of technology solutions supporting the service delivery. Within Corporate Services, the Procurement function plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organisation achieves value (i.e. performance, financial, enhanced risk, etc.) from its global supplier landscape. As such Procurement is accountable for the implementation and management of strategic procurement driving value through effective supplier relationship management, demand & consumption management, MI & BI analytics, third party risk management and the like.
As the Business Manager for Corporate Services, you will be responsible for driving the execution of the Corporate Services Strategy and transformation program whilst holding the Corporate Services functional managers accountable for delivering against the objectives covering strategic, operational, financial, organisational, compliance and regulatory performance. Additionally, you will play a key role in driving the transformation of global Corporate Services organisation, processes and procedures, in collaboration with the global corporate services and procurement management team.
Role Responsibilities
Support the Group Head of Corporate Services in managing and delivering key initiatives across the global corporate services landscape of Real Estate & Procurement including global transformation.
Develop and evolve the business management function to a leading platform and identify any Corporate Services sub-function that could be centralised under the Business Management function to enable efficiencies and effectiveness.
Global central lead for managing / coordinating all AI initiatives and technology related projects for Corporate Services.
Set up the governance and reporting structure for the Global Corporate Services strategy and objectives portfolio across Real Estate & Procurement.
Supporting the Corporate Real Estate and Procurement Function Leads for the overall planning & execution across all operational work streams.
Support the facilitation and preparation of key governance forums.
Managing the communication with key stakeholders regarding procurement and real estate strategic initiatives timelines, financials, constraints and deliverables.
Drive the development and continuous improvement of the Corporate Services BI/MI Analytics platform and capability to drive informed decisions.
Support Corporate Services management with resource management, including identifying and preparing role definitions for new permanent and temporary roles, oversight of approval process with HR, and partnering on reporting/tracking of all people/roles/actions related to the workforce.
Support the Group Head of Corporate Services on analysis and ad hoc requests required for effective running of the Corporate Services function.
Partner to develop & enhance reporting and processes with key Business Partners, in particular within Finance, HR, Technology, Legal and Risk.
Partnering with Finance Business Partner to ensure trending against budget/forecast, and carrying out analysis to provide insight into deviations as needed.
Develop and implement KPIs / KRIs reporting for core Corporate Services processes and provide regular business management reports as appropriate
Develop and implement Global Corporate Services ESG strategic plan and objectives agreed to Group ESG Strategy and manage Corporate Services teams and key stakeholders in execution of the ESG strategic plan to agreed timeline and budget.
Keep up to date on knowledge of the ever-changing regulatory environment; to include analysing the impact of changes on Corporate Services and informing Management of expected impact, making suggestions to optimise business performance where relevant.
Support the Group Head of Corporate Services in production of Strategy, Board and GEC papers, engaging with various functions for input.
Drive accountability in the Corporate Service management team for delivery of strategic change program.
Support Group Head of Corporate Services in development of strategic organisational talent management framework through identification of high performers, driving talent acquisition and continuous evolvement of organisational model to enable clear growth & succession paths.
Represent Corporate Services in global forums, initiatives and programmes as and when required.
Experience / Competences
Essential
Evidenced knowledge of Corporate Services, including Real Estate and Procurement, and their role in supporting business objectives.
Proven experience in leading and delivering strategic and operational change initiatives within a complex organisation.
Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects and programmes, working across cross-functional teams to deliver results.
Highly numerate with advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for impactful presentations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
Demonstrated emotional intelligence, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse teams and functions.
Proven ability to work effectively with senior leadership, including CEOs, MDs, and other executives, in a matrixed environment.
Experience in establishing governance frameworks and managing performance reporting, including KPIs and KRIs.
Demonstrated ability to lead organisational transformation efforts, including processes, procedures, and workforce management.
Experience developing and executing ESG strategies aligned with organisational goals and global trends.
Desired
Experience working in a global organisation, managing stakeholders across multiple regions and navigating diverse regulatory environments.
Familiarity with leading and coordinating AI and technology-related projects within Corporate Services.
Proven experience in developing and leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) and Management Information (MI) analytics to inform decision-making.
Ability to partner with finance teams to monitor budgets, forecasts, and provide insights into financial performance deviations.
Experience in organisational talent management, including identifying high performers, driving talent acquisition, and developing succession plans.
Understanding of evolving regulatory requirements and their impact on Corporate Services, with the ability to propose performance-optimising strategies.
In-depth knowledge of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and their application in Corporate Services.
Experience representing Corporate Services in global forums and strategic initiatives.
Experience leveraging technology and automation to improve processes and enhance service delivery efficiency.
