The Opportunity: 

Do you have the drive, skills and ability to work with us as part of our team? Kent is offering an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner.  This role focuses on Telecoms Operations and Maintenance, as well as Brownfield project delivery. Our future colleague will be responsible for the forward planning and scheduling of preventative and corrective maintenance activities, along with providing additional support across all telecoms services and client assets. The role is pivotal in ensuring the continuous, efficient, and effective operation of all communications and electronic systems.

In this role, some of the following duties you will undertake but not limited to:

• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager, T3s, and Client Leads to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the ongoing Preventative Maintenance (PM) program.
• Collaborate with the team and Leads develop work backlog in DevOps, assist in Sprint planning, and participate in review meetings.
• Work with Project team lead on vendor engagement for equipment and service sourcing.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly activity programs across all facilities, ensuring schedules are accurate and based on reference documents, scheduling logic, and network requirements.
• Generate three-month forecast reports for calibration requirements and ensure synchronization with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in the allocation of resources based on activity type, location, and material availability.
• Monitor and manage tickets relate to Integrity Critical systems and ensure timely closure of the tickets.
• Raise JDE service requests for mechanical isolations, electrical requirements, and other tasks as needed.
• Maintain the site roster and assist in organizing site visits, ensuring that all site mobilization requirements are fulfilled.
