Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in business continuity management, third-party risk management, systems administration, information-systems security, access management, network-security technologies, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, data, and people.
  • Experience with multiple technical and business disciplines.
  • Ability to provide top-tier support for at least five information-security domains, including access control, application security, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, cryptography, information security and risk management, legal and regulatory compliance and investigations, operations security, physical security, security architecture and design, telecommunications and network security, vendor resilience, and technology resilience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with associates, team members, stakeholders, regulators, customers, and vendors.
Responsibilities
  • Lead development and execution of risk-assessment methodologies aligned with business, third-party risk management, regulatory, and technical considerations.
  • Lead development of requirements, system architecture, and software design for security and risk-management products and services.
  • Develop strategies for discovering, evaluating, and responding to new network attacks.
  • Develop security, crisis-response, and third-party risk-management incident-response plans and strategies.
  • Provide troubleshooting and serve as the technical and third-party risk-management escalation point for complex problems.
  • Create presentations and obtain IT-management approval for significant resilience programs, projects, and replacements or reconfigurations of major enterprise security systems.
  • Set or support operational, business, and vendor-resilience strategy and direction.
  • Participate in project teams as a technical and subject-matter expert consultant to business partners, stakeholders, vendors, and developers.
  • Design and engineer access-management and network-security solutions and resilience-related tools for plan development, execution, and customer-facing use.
  • Work with architecture teams to update technology direction and strategy.
  • Develop reports supporting strategy and direction for management.
  • Serve as the technical merger-and-acquisition lead.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert among peers, managers, and senior management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional, Master Business Continuity Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Information Systems Security Architecture Professional, Information Security Engineering Professional, Certification and Accreditation Professional, or equivalent advanced technical security certifications.
  • Experience planning, designing, building, implementing, or maturing third-party risk-management programs, business continuity programs, global business-resilience programs, or highly complex systems.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector.
