Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Develop, monitor, and report the operating budget and associated financial transactions for several MTA Construction & Development departments.
  • Budget, report, forecast, and monitor financial transactions including payment processing, requisitions, and overtime charges.
  • Ensure timely reimbursement of expenditures charged to the operating budget through the capital program, reimbursement agreements, or interagency billbacks.
  • Lead planning and forecasting efforts supporting MTA financial plans while working with relevant C&D departments, C&D leadership, and the MTA's consolidated financial tower.
  • Analyze proposed financial plan changes and provide justification and explanation to support their approval.
  • Review monthly financial results and trends to identify risks and opportunities in the financial plan.
  • Manage and train a finance team supporting these responsibilities.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as requested.
