  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Intermediate to advanced CAD skills (e.g., SolidWorks) is a must.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, and Operations to support process improvements.
  • Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve productivity.
  • Participate in the troubleshooting and resolution of manufacturing issues to ensure timely and effective solutions.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform equipment validation and calibration activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence.
