Requirements
  • BS/BA degree (or equivalent) with at least three years work experience in developing and preparing training courses
  • related industry certifications
  • approximately 4 years of experience in a related field
  • Must be U.S. Citizenship
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products Word Excel PowerPoint
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance; travel is allowed
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • All staff must be eligible for a Facility Access Authorization (employment authorization) by the U.S. Government Security Office
  • Have advanced experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio; ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary
  • Travel to CONUS/OCONUS Washington, DC as location of work
  • Familiarity with federal government business operations and work processes
  • Ability to support project teams and program managers and provide daily execution of assigned work functions
  • Ability to provide management support to collect, evaluate and test financial data and summarize issues clearly
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Periodic reconciliation reviews of external interfaces with field offices to identify/correct data gaps and financial discrepancies
  • Experience with IT systems to provide multi-functional Enterprise Services Staff Support Services
  • Experience providing acquisition support for all bureaus across multiple functional areas
Responsibilities
  • Conduct research necessary to develop and revise training courses
  • Develop and revise training courses and prepare appropriate training catalogs
  • Prepare instructor materials including course outline, background material, and training aids
  • Prepare student materials including course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms
  • Train personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops and seminars
  • Prepare reports and monitor training tasks in support of goals of the Contractor Program Manager and government sponsor using standard training standards and software and hardware programs such as modeling and simulation and prototyping efforts
  • Provide input to the Project Lead and the Contractor Program Manager on decisions for training validation or modifications of specified items or systems
  • Support requirements for Program Support and Training Specialist role within the engagement
