Office Manager

With a team of 50 people in the UK established in the last eight years, we are part of the global company Infleqtion with corporate Headquarter in Boulder, Colorado, USA and offices in Melbourne, Australia and Kidlington, United Kingdom.

LOCATION  

This is an on-site, full-time position in our Oxford, Kidlington office.  

POSITION SUMMARY  

The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office. This includes managing administrative tasks, coordinating office activities, maintaining supplies, and liaising with vendors. The role involves supporting staff, creating a productive work environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational, multitasking, and communication skills, with the ability to manage day-to-day operations effectively and contribute to the team’s overall success. 

What you will bring to the team:  

Technical Knowledge & Experience 
 

• Minimum 1 year prior administrative/office experience including experience as an Office Manager, Facilities Coordinator or similar role 

• Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures 

• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular) 

• Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g., printers) 

• Familiarity with email scheduling tools such as Outlook 

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work 

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills 

• Good verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively share information with technical and non-technical staff 

• Skill in multitasking 

• Collaborative team mindset 

• Good collaboration skills, able to work in a team environment where engagement and participation are an expected part of successful job performance 

• This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). TRAVEL 

Up to 10% local travel may be required. 

WORKING CONDITIONS and PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS  

Work will normally be performed in an office environment.  Able to efficiently use automated office equipment such as laptops, copiers, and printers; able to effectively engage in communications (via phone, computer, or in-person).  Will involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and carrying up to 15 pounds.
