  • 12 Years with Bachelors in Science; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD
  • Experience performing in one or more of the following Systems Engineering disciplines: System Requirements & Architecture, System Development & Implementation, System Integration, and/or System Verification, Transition & Validation
  • Experience leading technical teams through a system lifecycle
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Strong experience with SE tools (DOORS, CAMEO, or similar) in developing, managing, and decomposing system requirements
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, a Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) level clearance as a condition of continued employment
  • Strong Model Based Systems Engineers experience
  • Experience briefing Senior DoD and Military personnel
  • Strong knowledge of the NC3 and NC2 Enterprise
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for System and Subsystem Requirement Decomposition
  • Responsible for SE oversight of program capabilities across developmental, test, and production environments
  • Thread Ownership for Subsystem Level Requirements
  • Responsible for Verification Planning and VCRM Development
  • Impacts Requirement Shaping for Mission Capabilities
  • Leads Trade Study Activities
  • Responsible for DOORS-hosted requirements management
  • Manages open requirement issues (TBX) tracking and resolution
  • Oversees system configuration management of the System Technical Baseline
  • Interfaces with the customer for the System Technical Baseline Management
  • Plans and executes the systems engineering lifecycle and work products for an integrated product team
  • Support the transition of the system to the operations, maintenance, and sustainment stakeholders
  • Serves as the cost account manager for the systems engineering responsibilities
  • Ensures bi-directional traceability between system requirements and system capability allocations
  • Coordinates between the System Architect, Chief Engineer, Product Owners, and customer to ensure the allocation of requirements and capabilities into the program technical baseline
  • Participating in technical exchange meetings, program increment planning meetings, interfacing with customers, and contributing to a broad range of program deliverables
  • Occasional travel may be required
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with aircraft ground systems
  • Experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Git, Confluence)
  • Experience as an Agile Scrum Product Owner or Scrum Master
  • Experience planning verification activities utilizing test automation tools/frameworks in a CI/CD environment
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System as Control Account Manager or Project Engineer
  • Experience in Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Familiarity with Model Based System Engineering
  • Familiarity with cloud/hybrid infrastructures and related technologies
  • Knowledge of tactical datalinks and systems interoperability and emerging standards
  • Strong knowledge of NC3/ NC2 enterprise
  • Experience with CAMEO architecture development
  • Knowledge of DoD various networks used with in the NC3 / NC2 enterprise
  • Experience in various tools used for MS&A (i.e AFSIM, STK, Python etc.)
