You won’t just be a cog in the machine; you’ll be a strategic mastermind responsible for developing and executing cutting-edge account strategies. Your expertise will lead to the successful growth and retention of Kyndryl’s most valuable accounts. With your sharp eye for identifying and qualifying new opportunities, you’ll build relationships with key decision-makers and deliver tailor-made solutions that cater to the unique needs of each customer.

Collaboration is key, and as a Customer Partner, you’ll work closely with other sales team members to ensure a seamless account management process. Together, you’ll execute every aspect flawlessly, from the initial prospecting stage to closing deals and beyond.

Not only will you lead one or more Portfolio or Strategic accounts, but you’ll also be the driving force behind generating new opportunities and expanding existing work into larger scopes and new capabilities. By building a strong go-to-market pipeline with our partners, you’ll join forces to pursue and conquer new deals, taking Kyndryl to unprecedented heights.

By staying ahead of the curve, you’ll continuously provide innovative solutions that position Kyndryl as a leader in the market.

As an owner of the account P&L, you’ll take charge of customer satisfaction, ensuring that our clients are not only happy but also successful. Integrity is at the core of everything you do, and you’ll go above and beyond to ensure account compliance and maintain a stellar reputation.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong background with sales in in the financial industry. Your ability to manage and nurture business relationships will be crucial, as well as your skills in relationship management, relationship networking, and relationship selling.

Experience in sales, particularly within the finance sector, will be highly valuable. You should be adept at developing and executing account strategies, identifying and qualifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of each customer.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building and maintaining relationships with top-level executives. You should be a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of driving proactive account growth and minimizing erosion in renewals.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of experience managing sales process end-to-end.
• 5+ years’ experience running account P&L.
• Proven experience in a client-facing account growth role.
• Strong understanding, experience, and passion for the finance sector, with awareness of industry trends, challenges, opportunities, and disruptors.
• Proven experience with revenue growth, cost, profitability, trends, risks, and customer satisfaction.
• Open minded and empathetic approach in relationships with customers.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
• Sales experience in service and/or technical/finance solutions.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $151,560 to $272,760 based on a full-time schedule.

Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations: 

California: $166,680 to $327,240 

Colorado:$151,560 to $272,760 

New York City:$181,800 to $327,240 

Washington:$166,680 to $300,120 

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
