Requirements
  • A current state license to practice dental hygiene is required.
  • The candidate must be able to educate patients on their unique oral health needs and desires.
  • The candidate must be able to perform hygiene clinical procedures, including adult and child prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride.
  • Annual Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and infection control training must be maintained as required by law.
  • The candidate must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • The candidate must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
  • The candidate must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Responsibilities
  • Perform licensed hygiene procedures.
  • Educate patients consistently on treatment and care.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with patients.
  • Maintain patient records accurately and thoroughly.
  • Partner with the administrative team on scheduling appointments.
