Responsibilities
  • Dual reporting role to the CFO of TELUS International (Vanessa Kanu) and the President of WillowTree (Tobias Dengel)
  • Leads all aspects of WillowTree-wide finance strategy, execution, and financial modeling including budgeting and headcount/resource planning, analysis, multi-year planning, short and long-range forecasting, financial narratives, cash flow analysis, balance sheet analysis, financial presentation packages, and communication of risks/opportunities
  • Extensive involvement in business system implementations, such as ERP systems, PSA systems, and/or HCM systems
  • Cross-collaboration with Business Development + Project Delivery teams to ensure updated revenue forecasting and optimization
  • Partnering with Legal in the review of client contracts and ensuring alignment with WillowTree operating approach
  • Guiding adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and ensuring processes are up to standard
  • Oversight of financial reporting responsibilities under IFRS to TELUS International
  • Key contributor and stakeholder in Mergers & Acquisitions due diligence
  • Management and mentorship of the Controllers (WillowTree + Poatek), Accounting team, and FP&A team
  • Hands-on leadership in component audits with TELUS International
  • Build and establish quarterly financial objectives that align with the company's plan for growth and expansion
  • Review and ensure the application of appropriate internal controls, compliance, and financial procedures
  • Ensures the interpretation/communication to WillowTree's Executive Leadership team and TELUS International's Finance leadership team is clear, accurate, and concise to make informed decisions
  • Acquires, nurtures, and deepens relationships with all business partners to enable effective development and execution of core Finance activities
  • Provides financial direction to Steering Leadership as well as identifies and makes recommendations to senior management regarding the areas of concern and actions required to meet financial commitments. The technical and business capacity must merge together to manage the what-if scenarios and modeling capabilities used to support this diverse set of stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
  • Public accounting experience at one of the top-tier accounting firms
  • Experience within a digital product consulting or professional services organization
  • CPA or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
