Requirements
  • Foundational knowledge of the interest rate derivatives sales business, its products, clients, systems and key processes
  • Foundational knowledge of Capital Markets, covering interest rate derivatives and an ability to understand, manage and deliver a diverse product set to our client base
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field plus 3-5 years of relevant work experience in commercial banking, interest rate derivatives, or other fixed income asset classes preferred
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Experience with Bloomberg and interest rate hedging products preferred
Responsibilities
  • Work with and support a team of Interest Rate Derivatives marketers and assist with identifying new sales opportunities that address specific interest rate risk management needs of our clients throughout the transaction life cycle - from prospect identification to point of sale and through post trade execution process including but not limited to bespoke financial analysis, preparation customer presentations and pricing of transactions
  • Assist senior marketers with providing bespoke advice and recommendations to clients on interest rate and derivative products that best meet their financial needs
  • Build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients, including publicly traded corporations, financial sponsors and other market participants
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for meeting sales targets
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the interest rate derivatives market
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients on interest rate and derivative products, market trends, and industry developments
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as trading, risk management and legal to ensure timely and accurate execution of client transactions within a defined risk framework
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of interest rates and derivative products and stay current on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory guidelines.
