Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for the European market, aligning with the overall Business Unit strategy.
  • Provide internal communication support to sales teams in Asia, India, and the Middle East, enhancing their ability to achieve regional sales targets.
  • Lead the European sales team, including regional sales managers, key account managers, inside technical sales resources, and business development managers; this includes hiring, training, performance coaching, and management.
  • Support and develop a direct customer base in Europe while also nurturing and expanding the channel partner network.
  • Maintain overall sales accountability for the business in Europe (Process Business Unit) and support other geographies (Asia, India, and the Middle East).
  • Develop and implement Business Processes that are globally aligned to support Business Unit goals.
  • Conduct regular reviews with the European sales team and business unit team to measure progress, develop the sales funnel, and identify attractive business opportunities and subsequent plans to address them.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with internal company and group resources to support the overall development of the business.
  • Lead geography, market, and other expansion initiatives, coordinating with other departments to achieve business goals.
  • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing between the European team and the teams in Asia and India, promoting best practices and leveraging regional expertise.
  • Support the VP / GM Process Business Unit in strategic planning and decision-making related to global sales initiatives.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of customer relationship management systems and enterprise resource planning systems; Salesforce, Dynamics 365, and Power BI skills are preferred.
  • Experience in business-to-business revenue development through successful prospecting and account development, both direct sales and sales through channel partner experience is beneficial.
  • Experience in capital project sales through engineering, procurement, and construction firms is beneficial.
  • Experience in making presentations and undertaking public speaking with skill and confidence
  • Experience managing diverse, distributed teams across Europe (multiple regions as a plus) is beneficial.
  • Cultural sensitivity, strategic thinking, adaptability, and travel up to 50% may be required.
