Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Economics or equivalent education and experience; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in an investment bank, private equity firm, PE-owned portfolio company or top-tier consulting firm
  • Experience working within a FinTech or Payments company is a strong plus
  • 10+ years relevant work experience
  • Expert in Excel and Business Intelligence tools like Power BI preferred, SQL experience is a plus
  • Experience with ERP and Planning systems; strong proficiency in Workday and Adaptive is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with a results-driven attitude and enthusiasm for helping purpose driven organizations
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to change, communicate expectations, adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Teaming with colleagues, both junior and senior, on shared deliverables and/or goals and working independently
  • Contributing as a team player with a positive attitude and intellectual curiosity to learn new things
  • Leveraging understanding of US GAAP as well as corporate accounting and auxiliary functions including revenue, treasury, and financial reporting
  • Developing lender and shareholder financial reporting in a zero-defect environment
  • Establishing and enhancing sophisticated forecasting and business/earnings analysis systems and procedures
  • Providing financial solutions utilizing various modeling and analysis tools and valuation modeling/methodologies
  • Developing cash flow analysis, strategic modeling and forecast planning
  • Constructing revenue, cost, and EBITDA bridges, performing transaction analysis, performing sum-of-the-parts asset valuation analysis, creating pro forma models, performing sensitivity analysis, performing IRR calculations under multiple scenarios
  • Solving complex problems with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Establishing metrics for monitoring and managing a diverse portfolio of SaaS, services and payments businesses
  • Implement and leverage business intelligence systems to improve analysis
  • Developing and/or managing the creation and quality of “best-in-class" presentations
  • Presenting in front of audiences including internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborating with all levels of the internal organization and with external partners
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to work in a general office environment
  • Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated up to 5%
Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and recurring forecasts for operating expenses and headcount
  • Develop, maintain, and improve global financial models to support long-term corporate strategy
  • Conduct scenario modeling, sensitivity analyses, and quantitative reviews to inform leadership decisions
  • Prepare and deliver variance analyses (actuals vs. forecast/budget) with clear insights and explanations
  • Own companywide headcount planning models, partnering with HR and business leaders to forecast staffing, compensation, and workforce costs
  • Provide analysis of workforce trends (hiring, attrition, productivity) and align with business priorities
  • Ensure alignment of headcount requests with budget targets and strategic goals
  • Act as the primary financial partner for department leaders, reviewing and challenging spend requests
  • Provide actionable insights to optimize operating efficiency and resource allocation
  • Maintain cost governance processes, ensuring expense requests align with company objectives
  • Translate accounting data, non-financial metrics, and analyses into best-in-class presentations that tell a clear, fact-based story
  • Assist in preparation of management dashboards, board materials, and other executive deliverables
  • Provide scheduled and ad-hoc reporting to support decision-making at all levels
  • Develop and maintain new forecasting tools; provide input on system enhancements and automation
  • Manage and maintain company historical financial and operational data
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate expense recognition and reporting
  • Continuously improve FP&A processes to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity with sensitive company data
  • Ensure financial controls are followed in budget, forecasting, and reporting processes
Desired Qualifications
  • MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred
  • Experience working within a FinTech or Payments company is a strong plus
  • Power BI experience preferred
  • SQL experience a plus
  • Workday and Adaptive planning systems proficiency a plus
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience could be considered highly desirable depending on context
  • Strong communication and presentation skills considered valuable
