- MD or DO license from any US jurisdiction
- AP/CP board certification Physiatrist to provide anatomic and clinical pathology services
- Experience/Graduate Training: at least 1 year of supervised clinical experience after MD/DO (internship or first year of residency) in a hospital or institution accredited for training
- Prescribes the full spectrum of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech, Neuropsychology evaluations, and social work services.
- Orders radiology and laboratory tests, makes diagnoses and prescribes/directs rehabilitation treatment to include drugs and dietary care as indicated.
- Performs and interprets electrophysiology studies including Electromyography, Nerve Conduction Velocity, and Repetitive Stimulation Studies.
- Performs prosthetics, orthotics, rehabilitation equipment evaluations and prescriptions.
- Performs limited clinical research, teaches, and provides consultation to a health care team comprised of other physicians, medical professionals, and ancillary staff.
- Serves as subject matter expert on the development of Brain Injury Medicine treatment plans.
- Exhibits special expertise in treatment and management of other central nervous system insults with neurocognitive presentations (encephalopathies, anoxia).
- Maintains duty hours 0700 to 1630, Monday through Friday with one hour lunch break
