Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Benefits System Analyst to their Corporate Synergies team. This is a hybrid role based in the Greater Philadelphia Metro Region.
Job Summary
The Benefits System Analyst is critical to the successful implementation, ongoing support and annual renewal of CSG’s Employer and Participant Support Service offerings. This role works closely with the Client Engagement Manager (CEM) to understand the requirements and to execute upon the deliverables within the designated timeframe. They are responsible for system setup/configuration, ongoing maintenance, testing and reporting for all Client Solutions related to Employer and Participant Support.
Additionally, the Benefits System Analyst is responsible for coordinating the complete and timely delivery of the Benefits Administration technologies, Billing Reports, Payroll Integration, Review and Reconciliation of Carrier Error Reporting.
The Analyst must stay current on Federal and State regulations and legislation that may affect employee benefits, particularly those impacting system configuration and reporting needs.
Essential Functions
- Set-Up and maintenance of Client Solutions Products (i.e. Benefits Administration System)
- Following CSG processes and ensures all documentation required to install BenAdmin platforms is up to date.
- Ability to identify and resolve and/or escalate issues with minimal guidance
- Create and execute test scripts to ensure work product is delivered error free and in accordance with requirements
- Facilitating and meeting with Client Engagement Manager to secure missing information during implementation, renewal, maintenance of the product.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources to populate and/or maintain BenAdmin system(s)
- Utilize CSG’s technology toolset to manipulate data for use in development of various BenAdmin portals, billing and carrier error reconciliation
- Responsible for all aspects of data quality and analysis
- Analyze and validate data completeness, consistency, accuracy, and compliance to data standards
- Investigate and identify data quality issues. Addresses the root cause of data problems and develop a recommendation on how to resolve issues. Partner with data source stakeholders to implement resolution
- Ensure that all outstanding issues that may interfere with successful implementation are quickly mitigated and/or escalated
- Evaluate and identify where system enhancements are required
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Work closely with leadership to prioritize business needs
Competencies and Qualifications
An ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or education and experience equivalency.
- Minimum of five years of experience with a health and welfare benefits administration.
- Experience in brokerage dealing with clients with 100 or more employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
- Solid knowledge in the area of HRO/Benefits Administration (i.e., ability to represent CSG as a technical expert in front of clients.)
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Effective communicator (written and verbal)
- Strong data administration skills (i.e. manipulation pivot tables, table compare and data conversion).
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical / processing specifications
- Quality assurance and technology skills as it relates to the industry
- Understanding of programming fundamentals is preferred.

- Experience with PlanSource, Employee Navigator and/or ADPWFN desired
Conditions of Work:
