- Senior experienced project manager with track record leading multiple information technology programs and projects, including enterprise-scale initiatives related to information technology security and infrastructure.
- Proven ability to define project scope, duration, resources and cost, and determine best course of action to attain objectives.
- Experience providing project management for scheduling, tracking, issue management, risk management, change management, and status reporting.
- Familiarity with Project Management Methodology and System Engineering Methodology based on Industry standard Project Management Institute framework and SEI’s Capability Maturity Model Integration.
- Experience using the State’s Project Portfolio Management tool Changepoint on all projects.
- Ability to plan and coordinate work with teams, design and implement project plans, and collaborate with other IT managers and IT technical teams; rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Experience acting as a program manager for large complex enterprise IT Security initiatives.
- Experience performing Project Management Quality Assurance for other project managers’ projects.
- Self-directed and independent, responsible for coordination and completion of projects, overseeing all aspects, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress; preparing reports for upper management.
- Ability to create structure and organization for management of a complex environment with emphasis on quality, productivity, and consistency; directing corrective actions where performance falls below objectives.
- Provide project management for project activities to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget and within scope.
- Define project scope, duration, resources and cost, as well as the best course of action/approach to attain the project objectives.
- Provide project management for project scheduling, tracking, issue management, risk management, change management, and status reporting.
- Follow the Project Management Methodology (PMM) and System Engineering Methodology (SEM), based on Industry standard PMI framework and SEI’s CMMI framework.
