Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in hypersonic systems engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar
  • Experience with hypersonic boost glide or air breathing systems
  • Ability to articulate technical challenges in high-speed flight system design
  • Experience in multiple domains crucial to hypersonic design (aerodynamics, aerothermal, materials, thermal, structural, loads & dynamics)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Active Secret clearance required, Top Secret preferred
Responsibilities
  • Lead systems development and modeling and simulation efforts
  • Define analysis and test roadmaps to validate performance of hypersonic systems
  • Integrate results of analysis and tests into comprehensive customer deliverables
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders to define system-level requirements
  • Define plans including design requirements, allocations, and M&S plans for execution
  • Generate solutions for technical issues in hypersonic weapons system development
  • Support development of junior team members through mentorship
  • Communicate issues and results to internal team members and customers
