Requirements
  • Maintain certification as a level II or III Test Engineer as required.
  • Proficiency with business tools including Microsoft Office; advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word; proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio; ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
  • Willingness to constantly learn, share, and grow and to view the world as their classroom.
  • Experience supporting development of Test Acceptance Criteria, General Test Data and Baseline Operating Data criteria in the development of a Test Specification Plan for the system or modification to be tested.
  • Ability to develop test procedures to ensure safe operations for the component or system being tested, providing auditable documentation of the test and meeting the criteria of the Test Specification Plan.
  • Experience coordinating testing activities between Engineering, Construction, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Responsible Government Oversight, Industrial Hygiene and Operations.
  • Experience performing testing in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Ability to conduct Pre-Test and Shift briefings; develop test summary documents.
  • Experience assisting in the preparation of operation or maintenance manuals.
  • Experience conducting assessments per Standards Requirements SCD-4 FI-16 Testing.
  • Experience supporting the completion of Material Safety Assessments, Facility Safety Analyses and Risk Assessments for project work.
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits or assessments as requested.
  • Experience supporting training of Operation and Maintenance personnel on new modifications.
  • Experience supporting procedures group in developing or modifying Operations and Maintenance procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Provide startup/test engineering services on assigned SRR Project Teams and support services including design review, analysis, walkdowns, test procedure development and test procedure performance of project modifications.
  • Provide Test Engineering support for day-to-day activities within all SRR facilities including Defense Waste Processing Facility, Saltstone, H Tank Farm, F Tank Farm and Effluent Treatment Plant in the areas of project planning, testing phases, design and construction input for safety, testability, operability and maintainability.
  • Develop, review and status project schedules as required for testing activities.
  • Coordinate testing activities between Engineering, Construction, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Responsible Government Oversight, Industrial Hygiene and Operations.
  • Develop test procedures to ensure safe operations for the component/system being tested and provide auditable documentation meeting the Test Specification Plan criteria.
  • Determine the requirement of Test Acceptance Criteria, General Test Data and Baseline Operating Data criteria in the development of the Test Specification Plan for the system/modification to be tested.
  • Conduct Pre-Test and Shift briefings; develop test summary documents.
  • Maintain certification as a level II or III Test Engineer as required.
  • Support Vendor testing and associated activities.
  • Assist in preparation of operation or maintenance manuals.
  • Conduct assessments as required per SCD-4 FI-16 Testing; Support completion of MSAs, FSAs and RAs for project work.
  • Support internal and external audits or assessments as requested.
  • Support training of Operation and Maintenance personnel on new modifications.
  • Support procedures group in developing or modifying Operations and Maintenance procedures.
Desired Qualifications
  • Security Clearance is a valued asset for engagement teams handling sensitive federal engagements.
  • ProSidian Core Competencies such as Teamwork, Leadership, Communication, and Adaptability would be considered desirable in context of performance expectations.
  • Advanced degree in a science or engineering discipline may be preferred but not required.
