Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- BA/BS degree preferred, experience may substitute
- 5 years' sales management experience
- 5-10 years' overall sales experience
- Knowledge of travel and expense management industry highly preferred
- Proven track record of sales success in a complex software or technology environment (preferably SaaS)
- Ability to communicate and convey the value proposition of a complex software platform via phone and online demos as well as in-person meetings
- Experience utilizing an enterprise level CRM (preferably salesforce.com) to monitor and manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities of the team
- Success in a past leadership role required to include ongoing development of individual team members through training, mentoring and overall performance management
- Creative thinker with an eye toward keeping a large team of sales representatives motivated and passionate about their work
- Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously and successfully
