- A high school diploma or GED and a Technical Certificate in Engineering or Industrial Technology are required.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
- Basic knowledge of measuring tools is required.
- Basic knowledge of technical prints is required.
- Knowledge of wire harness manufacturing is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment are required.
- Receive warranty parts and perform teardown analysis according to automotive specifications and standards to determine failures and root causes.
- Work with SEWS laboratories when special testing is required.
- Organize test results and report them to the Warranty Engineer.
- Manage part-return documentation and storage in the local warehouse.
- Work safely, maintain a safe work environment, and practice good housekeeping.
- Support other QA department functions, such as containment activities or QRE support.
- Travel to Mexico and the United States as needed.
- Promote and assure standards issued by SEWS and SEWS Quality Assurance in alignment with SEWS values, objectives, and quality requirements.
- Perform other activities assigned by the supervisor.
- Three to five years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
- Basic vehicle knowledge is a plus.
