  • Significant knowledge of Venture Capital / Private Equity funds and the broader industry, 3+ years of experience recommended
  • Strong familiarity with how audit firms support VC and PE funds
  • Relevant network of contacts within the community, specifically encompassing audit firms
  • Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills, with experience leading meetings with key leaders and decision makers
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models
  • Relevant Business Development / Partnerships or other industry experience
Responsibilities
  • Expand Carta’s distribution and market share by deepening working relationships with key partners and developing relationships with new ones
  • Represent Carta as a valuable contributor to the Venture Capital & Private Equity ecosystem
  • Create champions for Carta’s fund administration products for VC and PE funds by partnering with audit firms
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to collect feedback from audit partners and drive strategies for mutual client penetration
  • Develop and execute strategies to convert audit firms into preferred partners
  • Coordinate with Sales team to activate mutual books of business with audit partners
  • Lead discovery on additional paths for Carta to add value to audit partners and drive new business
  • Drive non-linear referral motions with audit partners to increase referrals by 50%+
  • Create awareness of Carta’s fund and investor tools for VC and PE funds
  • Represent Carta in the field, meeting with current and prospective partners and attending industry events
  • Build and manage impactful external relationships, drive ecosystem partnerships, and develop business opportunities with Audit partners for VC and PE funds
