Requirements
- A high school diploma is required.
- Two or more years of machining experience are required.
- Proficiency with the measuring equipment required for the respective work performed is required.
- Solid mathematics skills are required.
- A strong mechanical interest or aptitude is required.
- A willingness to learn and grow is required.
Responsibilities
- Operate machine tools and perform offset adjustments to ensure parts meet print specifications using written setup instructions.
- Perform repetitive machining tasks consistently and according to quality standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and correlate specifications with inspection protocols and documentation requirements.
- Assist in setting up machine tools under the guidance of experienced machinists.
- Apply foundational knowledge of machining techniques and control functions to support production operations.
- Run multiple machines simultaneously within a production cell to maximize throughput.
- Use working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to support accurate part production.
- Mentor and train operators on repetitive machining tasks to promote skill development and process consistency.
- Perform other assigned duties that support team and production goals.
Desired Qualifications
- A CNC technical diploma is preferred.
