  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, logistics or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry strongly preferred
  • 10+ years' experience in IP and EDA procurement for semiconductor projects/companies
  • Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience in data analysis, forecasting, and budget management
  • Excellent skills in supplier management, contract management, and negotiation
  • Ability to create and lead short, mid, and long- term strategies
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Expertise in building positive relationships internally and externally, and conflict resolution
  • Adept at influencing decisions and developing solutions to complex business situations
  • Strong experience with multi-discipline collaboration, communications, negotiations, and facilitation
  • Proven track record of developing and executing procurement strategies that deliver cost savings, improve quality, and drive innovation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with sourcing and procurement and building a vendor program
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives, while minimizing total cost of ownership and maximizing value. Build and manage a high-performing procurement team, including hiring, training, and mentoring procurement professionals
  • Identify and assess potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure that products and services are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Monitor market trends and best practices and recommend process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
  • Analyze spend data and provide regular reports and insights to senior management
  • This leadership role drives procurement of IP, software, components, and services
  • Responsible for all aspects of cost, quality and delivery required to meet Ambiq product development schedules
