Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, logistics or a related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry strongly preferred
- 10+ years' experience in IP and EDA procurement for semiconductor projects/companies
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience in data analysis, forecasting, and budget management
- Excellent skills in supplier management, contract management, and negotiation
- Ability to create and lead short, mid, and long- term strategies
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Expertise in building positive relationships internally and externally, and conflict resolution
- Adept at influencing decisions and developing solutions to complex business situations
- Strong experience with multi-discipline collaboration, communications, negotiations, and facilitation
- Proven track record of developing and executing procurement strategies that deliver cost savings, improve quality, and drive innovation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with sourcing and procurement and building a vendor program
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives, while minimizing total cost of ownership and maximizing value. Build and manage a high-performing procurement team, including hiring, training, and mentoring procurement professionals
- Identify and assess potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure that products and services are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Monitor market trends and best practices and recommend process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Analyze spend data and provide regular reports and insights to senior management
- This leadership role drives procurement of IP, software, components, and services
- Responsible for all aspects of cost, quality and delivery required to meet Ambiq product development schedules
