Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Information Technology/Engineering, related major or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in enterprise architecture or technical leadership roles in complex Microsoft environments.
  • Deep technical expertise in Microsoft D365 FSC, CE, Power Platform, and Azure.
  • Hands-on experience designing and executing release pipelines and ALM practices in environments with multiple concurrent projects and service lines.
  • Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, Git, solution packaging, and managed vs unmanaged environments.
  • Familiarity with environment strategies (dev/test/QA/prod), licensing considerations, and tenant-level architecture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical team, business functional and other stakeholders.
  • Expert-level proficiency in X++, C#, and other programming languages relevant to D365 F&O
  • Proven experience in optimizing the performance of D365 FSC, including database tuning, code optimization, and infrastructure configuration.
  • Flexibility to work from home while collaborating in person half the time.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of solutions across Dynamics 365 (FSC and CE), Power Platform, and Azure.
  • Create and maintain scalable, modular, and secure architectural blueprints that align technology with business strategy.
  • Translate complex business and functional requirements into technical architectures that support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical and Solution Architects to provide architectural oversight across multiple projects and service lines, ensuring consistency, quality, industry best practices, and alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, product owners, and developers to design integrated, future-proof solutions. Bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption based on business relevance and technical feasibility.
  • Support and guide development teams in implementing best practices and architectural standards across multiple platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to best practice.
  • Establish and enforce development best practices, including coding standards, version control, testing methodologies, and deployment processes.
  • Design and enforce a consistent, scalable release management strategy across all Dynamics 365 environments (F&SCM, CE), Power Platform, and Azure services.
  • Lead planning and coordination of solution deployments across multiple service lines, ensuring minimal downtime and clear rollback strategies.
  • Define and manage branching strategies, deployment pipelines, and configuration management to support frequent and reliable releases.
  • Work with the System Engineers team to introduce automation where possible (e.g., testing, code quality checks, infrastructure provisioning).
  • Implement and optimize ALM practices using Azure DevOps, Git, and other Microsoft toolsets.
  • Govern and automate solution development, testing, versioning, and deployment across sandbox, UAT, and production environments.
  • Establish and monitor environments for multiple teams, ensuring security, stability, and clear ownership.
  • Establish and oversee technical governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead architectural reviews and provide expert guidance during solution development, deployments, and lifecycle management.
  • Review and approve architectural decisions related to ALM (e.g., environment strategies, release models).
  • Drive data architecture, integration patterns, and API strategies to ensure seamless interoperability across systems.
  • Support master data management and data governance initiatives across business units.
  • Design and govern enterprise integration strategies across Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management, Customer Engagement, and external systems.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of Dual-write for near real-time, bi-directional data synchronization between D365 F&SC and CE.
  • Architect and develop scalable integrations using Azure technology not limited to Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Azure Service Bus, ensuring robust error handling and monitoring.
  • Define and enforce standards for API usage, authentication (OAuth, AAD), and secure data exchange across Microsoft and third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with data, technical, functional architects to ensure alignment between integration design and enterprise data models.
  • Support hybrid integration scenarios, legacy system connectivity, and phased migrations across multiple lines of business.
  • Establish monitoring and alerting frameworks for integrations to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Armanino acquires MSTiller to expand Southeast presence with 110-person team

Armanino, the San Ramon-based accounting firm ranked 18th on Accounting Today's 2025 Top 100 Firms list, has acquired MSTiller to expand its presence in the Southeast. The acquisition adds 10 partners and approximately 110 employees across four offices. MSTiller advises middle-market organisations, family-owned businesses and private foundations across industries including automotive dealerships, construction, hospitality and real estate development. The firm had a longstanding relationship with Armanino through the Moore Global network. Armanino reported $716 million in revenue with 262 partners and roughly 2,700 employees across 22 offices. The firm took a minority investment from Further Global Capital Management in October 2024 and recently acquired Step Up Consulting in February 2026.

The integration will enhance Armanino's Audit Ally and Armanino Access ecosystem, providing clients with real-time visibility into audit progress and deeper business insights. The platform incorporates AI capabilities including intelligent risk identification, anomaly detection, and automated documentation support whilst maintaining professional oversight. Clients can securely connect their ERP systems directly to the platform, reducing manual document preparation time and enabling ongoing testing. Armanino's partnership with Inflo represents a significant investment in technology aimed at improving client experience and audit quality. Inflo, founded in 2015, serves over 430,000 accountants across 113 countries with its digital audit platform.

Armanino, a major US accounting and consulting firm, has entered a strategic partnership with Accrual to deploy its AI-native accounting platform across the firm. The platform embeds agentic AI directly into core accounting workflows, enabling deeper analysis and more proactive client insights. Armanino will gain early access to Accrual's augmented intelligence platform, initially supporting individual tax returns with AI-enhanced preparation, intelligent review and proactive tax planning. As an early strategic partner, Armanino will provide feedback to shape Accrual's product roadmap and co-develop new product lines over the coming year. Armanino acquires Step Up Consulting to expand human capital management and UKG Ready capabilities

Armanino, one of the 20 largest accounting and business consulting firms in the US, has acquired Step Up Consulting, a UKG partner specialising in Human Capital Management technology. The deal strengthens Armanino's HCM practice and expands its capabilities in HR, payroll and workforce management operations. Step Up Consulting specialises in UKG Ready implementations and support for small and mid-sized organisations. Christine Ferns, Step Up's CEO, will join Armanino to lead the newly formed UKG practice, unifying implementation, optimisation and managed services capabilities. The integration enables Armanino to deliver end-to-end HCM solutions whilst Step Up's clients gain access to broader consulting services spanning finance, tax and managed services. Financial terms were not disclosed.
