Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Strong proficiency with electronic communication and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • The ability to maintain strict attention to detail while reviewing footage for 6–8 hours per day is required.
  • The ability to travel up to 10% of the time throughout southeastern Michigan and northern Ohio is required.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. is required.
Responsibilities
  • Handle all client-generated requests.
  • Review videos to observe customer and associate behavior.
  • Identify and document incidents of theft or suspected theft.
  • Prepare detailed reports for review with management and clients regarding incidents.
  • Attend off-site client meetings to present findings and interview customers or associates suspected of theft.
  • Work with various stakeholders and authorities to achieve resolution.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Continuing education toward a bachelor's degree in criminal justice or retail management is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience reviewing video for loss prevention is preferred.
  • Work independently and deliver results with minimal guidance or direction.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving ability, including defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing conclusions.
  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, discretion, high ethical standards, and a professional image.
  • Work effectively and communicate progress while following through on tasks.
