Requirements

Responsibilities
  • The Registered Nurse-Acute functions as a vital member of the healthcare team by demonstrating a customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism self-development, and teamwork.
  • The individual utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families.
  • The Registered Nurse-Hospital is expected to demonstrate excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills and make decisions consistent with hospital policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.

Physician assistant joins Marshfield Clinic Wisconsin Rapids Center urgent care team. Jennifer Radtke, a certified physician assistant | Mayo Clinic Health System Jennifer Radtke, a certified physician assistant, has joined the Marshfield Clinic Wisconsin Rapids Center to provide care for patients in urgent care. She will move to the Emergency Department when the Marshfield Medical Center-Wisconsin Rapids Campus opens in 2026. Radtke began her career at Marshfield Clinic as a research assistant and later developed an interest in emergency medicine during her service with the U.S. Navy in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. "I like the fast-paced environment and that I am always learning something new," Radtke said. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and earned a master's degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Radtke grew up near Wisconsin Rapids and expressed satisfaction about working in her home community. In her personal time, she enjoys activities with her children and their dog, including gardening, daily walks, and participating in 5K races to support local fundraising initiatives.
