Job Description

ProSidian Seeks a Data and Policy Analyst (Contract Contingent) in Charlotte, NC / Remote to support an engagement for agency of the United States government responsible for consumer protection in the occupational safety and health sector 

The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to wll provide policy and economic analyses support services

Data and Policy Analyst Candidates shall work to support requirements for PR0001 Program Support and The Data and Policy Analyst will review and evaluate policies to determine the benefits and impact of policy change. The Data and Policy Analyst will manage and anlayze data, research and interpret policy and communiate findings th clients through summary reports. The Data and Policy Analyst will be responsilbe for the management and administration of tasks given by the agency. The Data and Policy Analyst will work with an Economic Modeler and Regulatory Specialist on each project to provide deliverables to the agency.

The Data Policy Analyst will provide expert support for specific task areas on the contract and will work with the agency leadership and representatives in the planning, management, executions and reporting related to reviweing and changing of policies. The Data Policy Analyst direct and support development and integration of project deliverables that are high value . The Data Policy Analyst will write accurate and effective statements of work so the clien and project staff understand the project expectations and roles. The Data Policy Analyst will develop and maintain expertise in assigned areas of responsiblity. The Data Policy analyst will contribute to the design of research projects including the development of conceptual and analytical frameworks for examing occupational health and safety.

Qualifications

The Data and Policy Analyst shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position.  Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:  GS-9 Equivalent:  Master’s degree or  equivalent from an accredited college or university in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience with demonstrated understanding of program management, policy analysis, occupational safety and health, and data analysis.

• Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree preferred in a relevant field or related subject (MBA strongly preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience providing communication and knowledge management expertise.
• Experience in management of custom survey projects.
• Experience in data collection, analysis, and written reports summarizing data collected.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team.
• Candidate must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to propose possible resolutions to complex managerial or operational problems.
• Demonstrated expertise in knowledge management.
• Demonstrated proactivity, attention to detail, working within deadlines, and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, English verbal, written, editing, research, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Section 504 and Section 508 disability requirements and accommodations.
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

TRAVEL:  Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.  

LOCATION:  Work shall be conducted at the Charlotte, NC / Remote

U.S.  Citizenship Required

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)

Advanced Data Analytics (Time series regressions, knowledge of how to apply appropriate statistical models to each job task)
