Essential Duties:
This Property Administrator candidate will be required to understand and maintain all 10 outcomes and 22 functions within the property lifecycle. This includes, the acquisition, receiving, identification, utilization, maintenance, inventory, relief of stewardship, IUID and contract closure categories.
In addition, this candidate will be required to support DCMA and Customer audits while maintaining the auditable records of government, customer and company owned property.
Daily Job functions include performing asset receiving, identification/tagging, record origination, physical inventory, and records management. Ensure records originated include proper acquisition authority and receiving documentation supports the Federal Acquisitions record requirements.
Ability to use the Microsoft Suite of Programs, excel, word, PowerPoint.
Knowledgeable with the following functions.
Initiating and performing the asset utilization survey process, generating customer reports for physical inventories, loss damage destruction documentation, unique identification origination and maintenance, maintaining sub-contractor control records, performing, and documenting contract property closeout efforts including any disposition actions through our customers Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment PIEE.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, contractual requirements and FAR/DFARS requirements.
Assist in the facilitation and performance of Contractor Self-Assessments, Review and writing of procedures to ensure compliance with contract and FAR/DFARS requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant discipline(s), industry practices, trends, and applications.
Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Required Skills:
5 years of combined Property Management experience with government/aerospace and defense contracting business.
Solid working knowledge of FAR part
52.245-1 and 45, DFARS part 245 and other contract clauses impacting government property.
Writing skills adequate to write procedures implementing FAR/DFARS changes and make the necessary reports and correspondence.
Good working knowledge of in-plant managerial relationships and operations. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to interface with government representatives and internal departments.
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Must have excellent organizational and record keeping skills, attention to details and ability to work independently but as a valued team member.
Sound interpersonal skills used when interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with company personnel, customers, and suppliers.
Ability to use computers to prepare appropriate reports and documents. Proficiency in use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database development programs (such as the Microsoft Suite of Programs). Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
Ability to develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills. Excellent computer skills, as well as written and verbal communications skills.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent work experience.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and or move assets up to 35 pounds.
Special Requirements:
This position requires that the applicant selected be a U.S. citizen and possess an active Secret security clearance. The applicant must also be willing to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Primary worksite will be Malibu, CA, however, there will be occasions where additional support is necessary at our Camarillo, Lost Hills, Calabasas or Westlake facilities.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $70,860 - $86,413 + bonus + benefits.

Additional Desired Experience and Skills:
NPMA certification preferred.
Familiar with the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
