Hapi is hiring an Enterprise Solution Architect to work with our large accounts in all phases of a project, from ideation through activation. This individual will work closely with our clients, both current and prospects, to define their current state, their desired future state, and a phased approach to achieving their desired end state. This may or may not include leveraging Hapi’s Platform, Products, and Services. The objective will always be to create the most valuable outcomes for our clients. This person will create detailed data flow diagrams, document use-cases and requirements, and work with the product management and development teams to define epics and user stories. This person will work very closely with clients to ensure solutions are created and implemented to meet all necessary technical requirements.
We are a global, remote organization, so the position may be located anywhere in the world but must have the ability to work in US time zones.
Technical Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary technical expert for assigned hospitality accounts.
- Understand clients' technical environments, workflows, and business needs to ensure optimal solution performance.
Escalation and Triage:
- Serve as the Level 4 escalation and triage point for complex technical issues, working with internal teams and external vendors to resolve problems efficiently.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product architecture and troubleshooting processes.
Account Strategy and Roadmap:
- Work with account manager to define and implement an overall technical strategy and roadmap for each assigned account, aligning with clients' business goals and our product development roadmap.
- Provide strategic guidance on technology adoption, upgrades, and enhancements.
Customer Advocacy:
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for their needs and providing feedback to product and engineering teams.
Commercial Collaboration:
- Support the sales team in developing and presenting technical proposals and solutions as part of a pre-sales/sales enablement process.
- Work closely with the account manager and sales team to identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts, generate new Statements of Work (SOWs) and expand our footprint.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Industry-recognized certification in cloud solution architecture (e.g AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional)
- Proven experience in a solution architecture or similar role within the hospitality technology industry.
- Strong understanding of hospitality technology solutions (e.g., PMS, POS, CRM, booking engines, etc).
- Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working with sales teams and developing commercial agreements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, etc) is a plus.
Travel:
- Ability to travel to attend in-person client meetings as needed (typically 3-5 days per quarter)
