Requirements
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information with polygraph security clearance.
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required; five additional years of systems administration experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Five, ten, or fifteen years of experience as a systems administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, depending on qualification level.
  • Certified Workforce Information Professional Information Assurance Technical Level I, II, or III certification, depending on qualification level.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator or a Red Hat Certified System Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer, or Red Hat Certified Architect certification, depending on qualification level.
  • One of the following certifications: A+, Network+, or System Security Certified Practitioner.
  • For Level 2, at least three years of experience performing duties at or equivalent to an Information Assurance Technical level position under the Certified Workforce Information Professional and Department of Defense 8570/8140 framework.
  • For Level 3, at least seven years of experience performing duties at or equivalent to an Information Assurance Technical level position under the Certified Workforce Information Professional and Department of Defense 8570/8140 framework.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems supporting mission-critical operations within a classified government environment.
  • Configure and support Cisco and Palo Alto networking equipment, including troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues.
  • Manage virtualized environments and support IPsec, virtual private network tunneling, and other secure network communications.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, including writing and deploying playbooks.
  • Create and maintain Bash and Python scripts to automate system administration, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
  • Support Secure the Enterprise and Secure the Network activities, including Nessus scanning and other high-side security tools.
  • Perform Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert patching, vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and security compliance activities.
  • Install, cable, document, and maintain physical infrastructure, including rack-and-stack activities for servers and networking equipment.
  • Create and maintain accurate system, network, configuration, and operational documentation.
  • Support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex Linux, networking, virtualization, hardware, and software issues to maintain reliable mission operations.
