Assistant Manager Security

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Assistant Manager - Security to join our security team in Udaipur, India. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and secure environment by overseeing daily security operations, managing security personnel, and implementing comprehensive security protocols. You will report to the Security Manager and be responsible for ensuring the protection of company assets, personnel, and facilities while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and compliance.

• Supervise and coordinate security personnel to ensure effective coverage and adherence to security protocols across all facility areas
• Conduct regular risk assessments and threat analysis to identify vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures
• Monitor and manage security systems, including CCTV surveillance, access control systems, and alarm systems
• Respond promptly to security incidents, conduct investigations, and document findings with accuracy and thoroughness
• Develop and implement emergency response procedures and conduct regular drills to ensure team preparedness
• Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining professional communication with all staff members
• Analyze security data and generate reports on incidents, trends, and recommendations for management review
• Coordinate with external security vendors and law enforcement agencies when necessary
• Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and personnel performance
• Provide guidance and support to security team members through coaching and performance feedback
• Ensure compliance with all applicable security regulations, industry standards, and company policies
• Conduct security awareness training and inductions for new employees

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security operations or a related field
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
• Strong knowledge of security systems, access control, and surveillance technology
• Proficiency in analyzing security incidents and developing corrective action plans
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of security regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts and on-call availability
• Physical capability to perform security rounds and respond to emergencies
• Preferred: Security certifications (such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent)
• Preferred: Experience with advanced security technology platforms
• Preferred: Background in training and mentoring security personnel
• Preferred: Experience in loss prevention or corporate security environments
