Requirements
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Ten plus years - Experience developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans
- Documented successful performance in leading teams via remote work environment inside of a matrix organizational hierarchy
- Experience and proficiency in creating and successfully executing Business Plans for Omni-Channel organizations to include Direct Sales Organizations (DSO), Multi-Unit Salon Models, Professional Retail and Ecommerce
- Demonstrated experience in identifying business opportunities, business development and growing existing sales
- Sales experience in professional salon or health and beauty aids industry is preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and manage an inclusive team that is responsible for the delivery of targeted revenue goals by US Sales Channel while modeling and cascading the Kao Salon Culture Attributes
- Develop, align and execute an annual business plan that delivers the targeted revenue goals. The plan will monetize the assets of the Kao Salon Division while aligning with the goals and vision of Gemba and Kao's shareholders
- Establish professional rapport with internal functional leaders as well as market leading customers to remain forward facing in providing feedback on innovative internal processes and market demands. Customer engagements should be regular for the purpose of informing the organization of strategic and tactical performance
- Systematically analyze and assess Business Plan performance. Analyze overall business conditions to anticipate and forecast volume trends, changes and threats affecting the Kao's goals. Identify innovative opportunities for improvement, present these opportunities to senior leadership in concise, logical recommendations
- Responsible for representing the Kao Salon Division, US at Industry and customer events in both a professional networking capacity as well as a keynote, informational and impromptu professional presentations that communicate Kao's commitment and vision for the professional beauty industry
- Leads by exemplifying the Kao Way, modeling the core attributes in customer and cross functional meetings and events
