Requirements
  • A minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of one year of related functional experience is required.
  • The candidate must be able to work all posted hours of operation, including opening and closing the model park and sales center before and after posted hours.
  • The candidate must be able to work weekends and all non-exempt holidays.
  • The candidate must hold any appropriate license or certifications required by the state.
  • The candidate must complete the Sales Consultant Learning and Certification Program.
  • A valid driver's license is required because driving is an essential function of the position.
  • The candidate must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as other operating systems.
  • The candidate must have written and verbal communication skills.
  • The candidate must have interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build relationships with prospective homebuyers.
Responsibilities
  • Sell and close PulteGroup products.
  • Monitor and meet Customer Quality Experience goals.
  • Generate leads from customer referrals and the core realtor group.
  • Interview prospects for current and future home sales, present to model visitors, and demonstrate model homes, spec homes, and community amenities.
  • Explain principal and interest payments, taxes, insurance, deed restrictions, homeowner associations, and, when applicable, club or golf membership plans.
  • Prepare required paperwork for each home sale and for prospective purchasers.
  • Assist prospective homebuyers with appointments involving the design center, mortgage, key inspection, and settlement departments when necessary.
  • Keep homebuyers updated on construction progress and estimated completion dates, remain actively involved through closing, and communicate customer requests to the appropriate departments.
  • Actively manage the sales backlog and communicate with Pulte Mortgage or outside lenders.
  • Conduct regular monthly competitive shops and report findings to peers and management.
  • Walk the model park, sales center, and other community features to identify items that are not customer-ready and coordinate repairs or maintenance with the appropriate party.
  • Audit the community website, multiple listing service, collateral, and other consumer-facing materials to ensure presentation accuracy.
