Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline is required.
  • At least five years of professional software development experience building production-grade enterprise applications is required.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, computational complexity, and end-to-end system design principles is required.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Java versions 11 and 17, Spring Boot, and clean, idiomatic RESTful APIs is required.
  • Production-level experience designing and operating microservices architectures, including service decomposition, inter-service communication, and observability patterns, is required.
  • Production experience developing front-end applications using React is required.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server, including query tuning and schema design, are required.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and Git-based version control workflows, including branching strategies, code review practices, and release management, is required.
  • Experience deploying applications to at least one major cloud platform, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and familiarity with managed services, networking, and identity primitives, is required.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills are required, including the ability to investigate problems methodically and document findings clearly.
Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems operating at significant scale across multiple business domains.
  • Manage the end-to-end engineering lifecycle, from translating business requirements into technical designs through writing production-quality code, deploying cloud-native services, and supporting them throughout their operational lifespan.
  • Build backend systems using Java and the Spring ecosystem and develop responsive, component-driven front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and fellow developers in an Agile environment to deliver secure, performant, high-quality applications.
  • Support strategic business outcomes through reliable enterprise software delivery.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Angular or Vue is considered a strong plus.
  • Experience designing and operating event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or equivalent streaming platforms.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Exposure to distributed system design principles such as eventual consistency, CAP trade-offs, idempotency, and saga patterns.
  • Experience writing automation tests using modern frameworks and contributing to test-driven and behavior-driven development practices.
