Requirements
  • 2+ years prior experience in workplace, food & beverage/hospitality, budget management, vendor oversight and/or stakeholder management.
  • Willingness to travel between our New York and DC offices on a monthly basis.
Responsibilities
  • Support day to day workplace operations in our New York and Washington, DC offices, with the main focus being on New York.
  • Establish, improve and manage our onsite facilities and vendors (eg day to day engagement, provide directives to vendors that align with our program’s quality and process improvements goals, equipment maintenance portfolio management).
  • Assist and manage Food and Beverage partners (i.e. daily audits, delivery account setups, vendor communications, etc.).
  • Manage and coordinate both customer facing onsite events and internal events.
  • Independently manage day to day operations locally, as well as special projects simultaneously (with varying project size and scope) coordinating alongside our cross-functional teams.
  • Oversight and planning of team seating relocations including change management and stakeholder meetings.
  • Identify vendor inefficiencies and build solutions to scale that are transferable from one location to another.
  • Tactfully manage the execution and delegation of urgent and time-sensitive business requests.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Project Management abilities including planning, timeline tracking, implementation and communication across teams. Ability to prioritize and execute against several competing tasks and projects.
  • Willingness and ability to be on-call to address critical incidents as and when they arise.

As market analysts continue to gauge the impact of President Donald Trump’s tariffs, some domestic manufacturers are banding together to revitalize America’s manufacturing sector.Formic, a robots-as-a-service automation provider for U.S. manufacturers, has joined the New American Industrial Alliance (NAIA) to grow accessible automation and workforce training initiatives in the U.S.The company told FreightWaves in an email that the decision comes in the face of rising tariffs as more and more businesses work alongside NAIA to strengthen domestic production and supply chain resilience.NAIA is a multisector trade association of builders, investors and policymakers who focus on reindustrialization by restoring America’s manufacturing capacity. By joining NAIA, Formic will work alongside other automation innovators like Dirac, Palantir and Atomic Industries to further manufacturing and workforce development.
