Requirements
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
- Experience building user interfaces and visualizations that convey information through creative visual products for audiences with varying degrees of technical sophistication
- 2+ years of experience in any of the following BI platforms: Tableau, Tibco Spotfire or Power BI
- 2+ years of experience in a specific business domain
- Excellent SQL experience on any commercial relational database
- Understanding SQL query optimization techniques
- Experience collaborating with cross functional partners and users while working in an Agile development environment
- Strong data engineering skills
- Python programming skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and data scientists in a product manager-like role to understand the potential business value of compliant data sets, the most relevant presentation of the data, and the interactions required to explore the meaning behind the data
- Design visualizations and interactive user interfaces in Tableau and potentially other visualization technologies to present complex data in an easily digestible format
- Work with data engineers to tackle technical challenges associated with building fast and interactive visualizations on very large datasets
- Maintain best in class infrastructure through evaluations and proof of concepts with the cutting-edge of visualization technology and frameworks
- Be and individual contributor and take on new product initiatives that have the potential to grow into sizable engineering efforts in the future
