  • Electrical education/experience preferred (applicants with limited experience will be considered)
  • Experience operating basic hand tools and small power tools
  • Experience running electrical conduit and associated wiring preferred
  • Required experience or the ability to climb water towers / water storage tanks as high as 200'
  • The successful candidate will have basic electrical experience with installing conduit, pulling wire and the ability to install and understand basic D.C. electrical circuits.
  • Your ability to think, learn and lead will be evaluated with equal weight to the experience that you offer.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, as well as ability to work well within a team
  • Beneficial to live within 1 to 2 hours from the office
  • Able to travel overnight on a weekly basis (Monday through Friday most weeks) and work overtime as needed. Typical workweek is 50+ paid hours.
  • Valid driver’s license and reasonable driving record required, as well as able to pass background check, and drug and alcohol screens
Responsibilities
  • Will work as a part of a 2- or 3-person crew installing and servicing cathodic protection systems onto water storage tanks. Cathodic Protection is a means of preventing corrosion utilizing a low voltage DC current. Work on above ground steel water storage tanks and towers, up to the height of 200'+
  • Will install conduit (pulling wires, splicing wires), junction boxes, read basic drawings, and provide general service maintenance work
  • Understand and follow company’s safety policies and procedures
  • Travel Monday through Friday to complete projects primarily located in Southern California and surrounding states
  • Document activities on Daily Field Reports (handwritten)
