  • Bachelor’s degree in Software development or related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience. (Additional related experience, training, and/or certifications may substitute degree requirements)
  • US Citizen; Currently possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Expertise in C++ and Java programming.
  • Experience in developing micro-services and containerized environments.
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development processes.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement containerized environments for Java, C++, and FORTRAN applications.
  • Develop mission-critical software supporting missile defense systems.
  • Communicate and document technical solutions for integrated engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay updated on state-of-the-art programming techniques and technologies.
  • Conduct software design and code reviews to ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with System Engineering teams to synchronize, schedule, and demonstrate capabilities to customers.
  • Manage regression coding and deployment delays with third-party contractors and stakeholders.

  • Master's degree in associated field
  • Effective communication skills and experience managing multiple tasks.
  • Experience in FORTRAN
  • Experience with missile warning and missile defense
  • Understanding of missile warning message types
