As the flow controller you will help in delivering primary site objective of product supply to patients by working across the end-to-end product flow within the site. This will involve working closely with all functions and in particular with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Finance teams as well as Heads of APU/Heads of functions. Also, will involve significant interaction above site, through various forums with Global Supply and Operational Excellence teams.
As flow controller you will be Business owner for the FACT reporting tool and be part of the implementation of tools/new ways of working that will enhance our site performance and ultimately improve our service levels for our patients.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for the facilitation of the daily control tower meetings for the APU ensuring to maximise batch release performance, highlighting and escalating risks.
- Responsible for the target setting, reporting and forecasting of a number of key KPI’s for the site – Plant Cycle Time (by product, by APU, by site), WIP, Throughput
- Responsible for the weekly/monthly reporting of performance of each node in the end-to-end site batch release process – by product, by APU
- Providing challenge and drive action orientated approach at the performance meetings with APU leads and APU managers to review performance trends, highlight alerts/risks and identify opportunities for areas of improvement.
- Coordination of performance improvement initiatives in order to improve PCT metrics.
- Coordinate release Planning and Prioritization: Manage batch prioritization and release planning based on market needs, ensuring FIFO at the final step
- Preparation of monthly reporting regarding PCT for site scorecard, IBP decks.
- Representing of site at various weekly end-to-end product control tower meetings and other global forums.
- Work with supply chain teams to assess impact of PCT improvements on inventory values, warehouse RCCP.
- Become part of an above-site flow controller network.
About you
Qualifications
- Degree level or above, APICs desirable
- Experience 5 years + experience in supply chain role ideally in a pharma or GMP environment.
- Strong background in Supply Chain Planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, with proven track record of scheduling and aligning stakeholders, supporting decision-making for production lines.
- Proficient with planning system ERP (SAP), ability to analyze data and build mitigations. Build recommendations to aid decision making.
- Skills and Knowledge –
- Good Materials Management knowledge & experience
- Good leadership and collaborative skills
- Proven ability to close out issues in a timely & effective manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, MPS, IBP, Class A metrics
- Knowledge of ERP – SAP
- Strong Excel, Powerpoint and IT skills
