- Experience servicing HVAC products and equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
- Ability to provide technical support to customers.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
- Ability to travel regularly, including some overnight travel.
- Service products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
- Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work.
- Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness.
- Maintain vehicles by keeping service records, scheduling service, and completing repairs and maintenance.
- Inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
- Complete job paperwork and maintain files, including daily time, progress, and duration.
- Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
- Determine parts to order for repairs and assess the timeliness of the need.
- Record parts, material, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data for each assignment and return unused resources.
- Submit all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
- Stay current on products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
