Requirements
  • Typically a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
  • Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) essential.
  • Highly developed organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated computer competency.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in all aspects of recruitment and outreach to prospective undergraduate students in Southern California.
  • Visit local high schools, community colleges, and community based organizations as assigned.
  • Provide admission counseling and Financial Aid information to prospective students, their parents, and counselors.
  • Utilize web and digital communication and information platforms to reach students and families.
  • Participate in the evaluation of applications for undergraduate admission.
  • Coordinate and plan main campus recruitment events.
  • Represent LMU within the community and at professional organizations or associations, serve on committees as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience in higher education or secondary school teaching or counseling highly desirable.
